The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) is a network of 13 colleges and research centers based across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, offering students a natural, supportive environment to study in.

Students choose their campus from one of the multiple locations, from Shetland to Lewis, Argyll to Perth. As a UHI student, you will benefit from exceptional support from tutors and peers.

UHI offer general vocational courses, such as computing and business studies, but they also offer degrees that reflect the industries and culture of the region, such as aircraft engineering, engineering with renewable energy studies, culture studies of the Highlands and Islands, Gaelic music and culture, marine science, sustainable forestry and, for outdoors types, adventure tourism management and golf management.
